a few words from jordan merritt

These songs have been living in mine and my family’s hearts for a long time and I’m excited that they can now be in yours! Each of these songs come from a special place, have done special work in our hearts and mean so much to us. Some songs were written from the mountaintop and some in the valleys, but one thing that they all have in common is that they tell of the Constant One through it all. My prayer for these songs is that God uses them to speak to the places in our hearts than need His joy, His encouragement, and His hope. I love you all!

jordan merritt Bio

Jordan Merritt is a talented Christian songwriter and musician who has made a significant impact on the contemporary Christian music scene. Hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife and 4 kids on a beloved, beautiful family farm.

Jordan is known for his ability to create music that inspires and uplifts listeners. His heartfelt lyrics, soaring melodies, and powerful vocals combine to create an unforgettable listening experience.

Notable works include "You Hold It All," recorded by the Newsboys, "People of the Cross," performed by Selah, "Yet I Want More," featured on Vol. 3 of The Emerging Sound project, and “Thank You For What You’ve Done” by Cliff Preston. His music consistently reflects his dedication to his craft and his faith. Jordan's debut album, released in two parts with 12 songs each, showcasing his artistry and creativity.

Jordan is founder and director, The Band Table, a new and rapidly rising collective of worship leaders, writers, and parents. They are to head out on another tour this fall, this time, alongside Stars Go Dim and Jordan St. Cyr, and Chasewell, bringing his uplifting music and true joy to audiences across the country.

When not on tour, or leading worship for churches, camps, and conferences, he is a full-time producer and owner at Jubilee Music Co, and staff writer/artist with People & Songs.
